Volunteer as a Group or Business
If your organization is unable to donate time during working hours and you wish to help seniors in our community, consider these options:
TEAM BUILDING IDEAS:
- Create We Care Packages
- Decorate table-top holiday decorations or as a contest within your organization to be donated to our seniors.
- Participate in a telephone pledge marathon in our Community Outreach Call Center.
- Volunteer at an event.
- Create an event with Meals-on-Wheels Greater San Diego as a beneficiary.
- Additional ideas welcome!
ADOPT-A-ROUTE:
The Meals-on-Wheels Adopt-a-Route program is an easy, and effective way for organizations to become involved in their local communities! A group with as few as eight people is able to deliver meals.
- Deliver meals minimum twice per month
- Consistent day of the week
- Deliver close to your workplace
