ADOPT-A-ROUTE

The Meals on Wheels Adopt-a-Route program is an easy and effective way for organizations to become involved in their local communities! A group with as few as eight people is able to deliver meals.

  • Deliver meals minimum twice per month
  • Consistent day of the week
  • Deliver close to your workplace

If your organization is unable to donate time during working hours and you wish to help seniors in our community, consider these options:

TEAM BUILDING IDEAS

  • Create We Care Packages
  • Decorate table-top holiday decorations or as a contest within your organization to be donated to our seniors.
  • Participate in a telephone pledge marathon in our Community Outreach Call Center.
  • Volunteer at an event.
  • Create an event with Meals on Wheels San Diego County as a beneficiary.
  • Additional ideas welcome!
